Emotional eating support group
Aimed at people who eat to comfort themselves when stressed and/or feeling low.
Each week we will build your knowledge about food and the way it makes you feel and how
by eating the right foods can change the way you feel and improve mental and physical
Each week there will also be an optional challenge to improve your diet and mood and you
can keep a record of your progress in your own diary.
Weeks 1- 3 we will look your 'diet' and understanding more about stress.
Weeks 4-10 will be around changing habits and looking at why eating provides you comfort.
Weeks 11-12 are around moving one and maintaining the changes to cope with stress
The aim is to meet others - who also eat emotionally to overcome upset, anxiety, stress and
learn how to change this coping mechanism in a safe, supportive environment.
